Leadership Announcement: Rolling Arrays Technologies appoints Sunesh Rodrigo as Chief Executive Officer

Rolling Arrays Technologies (RATPL), the Singapore-headquartered HR software company, today announced the appointment of Sunesh Rodrigo as Chief Executive Officer, effective 12th October 2026. Sunesh moves up from his role as Chief Product & Business Officer, where he has led the product strategy and growth of RATPL’s portfolio of AI-first HR technology solutions.

RATPL was established in 2023 as a separate company from Rolling Arrays Consulting (RAC), the HR technology consulting firm Manu Khetan founded in Singapore in 2009. While both entities share similar corporate names, RATPL and RAC are wholly distinct, independent organizations with no shared ownership, leadership, or operations. Today’s appointment relates to RATPL only. Manu Khetan continues as Founder and CEO of RAC and as an advisor to RATPL.

Sunesh’s appointment follows two years of rapid expansion under his leadership, with the company’s user base increasing to more than half a million users across 26 countries and 8 industries. RATPL products now support more than 56 languages. Earlier this year, the company also set up a second data center in Canada to serve customers beyond APAC.

As CEO, Sunesh will lead RATPL’s product strategy, go-to-market and customer growth across APAC, North America, Europe and the Middle East. He will also spearhead the company’s expansion into agentic AI, developing purpose-built HR agents that simplify how employees and HR teams navigate everyday processes, and help organisations realize greater returns on their existing HR technology investment.

Sunesh brings a wealth of leadership experience across five industries. Before joining Rolling Arrays Technologies, he was Group Chief Human Resources Officer of Daraz, a part of the Alibaba Group, where he led talent across South Asia. He spent close to seven years in apparel manufacturing, where he led the Turnaround and Transformation office under the Group COO and later headed Sales, Marketing and Communications for part of the group’s supply chain. As a consultant and lecturer, he has trained more than 10,000 mid-career professionals across over 50 organisations. Earlier in his career, Sunesh was an award-winning broadcast journalist and a recipient of the US Department of State’s Edward R. Murrow Fellowship.
